This outdoor oasis in
Finksburg, Maryland broke ground in the summer of
2024, with final photos and video captured in 2025 after the landscaping had fully settled in. The homeowner wanted a true
at-home retreat, especially now that working from home meant enjoying the outdoors throughout the summer.
Before construction began, there was one major challenge to overcome—persistent flooding and low spots throughout the yard. The X2N Fiberglass team installed an extensive drainage system to eliminate those issues once and for all, setting the stage for a long-lasting, functional design.
The centerpiece of the project is a stunning
saltwater fiberglass pool, supplied by
Glimmer Glass Pools of New Jersey and expertly craned into position. The surrounding hardscape features multiple custom inlays and spacious patios designed for entertaining and relaxation.
A stylish
pergola creates a shaded outdoor living area complete with a built-in grill, mini fridge, bar, and an
electric fireplace set into a beautiful stone TV wall—perfect for outdoor dining, lounging, and year-round enjoyment.
Toward the entryway of the project, the team added a bonus
fire pit with a sitting wall, creating an additional gathering spot. The space is finished off with an extensive walkway system that wraps seamlessly around to the front of the home, tying the entire property together.
